About Us

On July 9, 2001 the newly formed, privately held Liberty Coating Company, LLC acquired Bredero Price, an existing business with a 36 year presence in the Northeast.

Liberty Coating Chairman, Bill Burke, was the former president of Bredero Price and has over 25 years of experience in the pipe coating industry. After his career with Bredero Price, and prior to joining Liberty Coating Company, Bill was a member of the board of directors of several domestic and International businesses. Additionally, he still has or had ownership in a crane rental company, a document imaging business, and a geophysical survey company.

Don Barder, President and Chief Operating Officer of Liberty Coating, was also a Bredero Price employee. During his 17 year career 12 of which were with Bredero Price, Don spent several years in Malaysia and Singapore in various management positions. His position prior to Liberty Coating was with a Japanese conglomerate, Sumitomo Corporation of America, as Product Manager for linepipe officing in Houston.

Together, Bill and Don lead a professional team of industry professionals -who work together as a dedicated team, committed to excellence in every aspect of the business.

Other team members:

Wally Armstrong - Regional Sales- Has responsibility for outside sales from New York north to Maine.

George Rocchino - Regional Sales- Has responsibility for outside sales from New Jersey south to North Carolina.

Tracey Beck, -Manager of Sales and Marketing -with 12 years of experience, Tracey is Manager of Inside Sales and Marketing.

Dave Coons - Manager Carbon Steel Pipe- is responsible for all carbon steel pipe coating operations of the facility. Dave has 30 years of experience in pipe coating at this facility. Dave is also responsibile for all special projects and plant maintanance..

JoAnn Conrad- Sr. Office Clerk - has responsibility for Shipping & Receiving, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Pipe Inventory. She has 21 years of experience.

Ed Selander - Manager Yard and Pipe Handling -has an impressive 40 years of experience and has responsibility for all pipe handling and Mobile Equipment. Ed also has responsibility for labor and the administrative responsibilities of plant and field operations.

Chad Cuvo, Manager Ductile Iron Pipe with 7 years experience is Plant Foreman and also manages the Safety and Environmental programs.

Audra Jenkins , Buyer and is an adminsitrative assistant and is responsible for purchasing and other administrative support functions.

Jennifer Wright , Sales and Marketing Admisistrator recently joined the group.
